Axé Capoeira Comox Valley Brasil Fest
This year I was invited back to document some of Axe Capoeira Comox Valley’s Brasil Fest. The weekend included an intercultural exchange at the Kómox Big house with the Kumugwe Cultural Society, where oral history was shared through song and dance. At the Florence Filberg centre, live music, Brazilian cuisine, colourful dancers and high flying acrobatics were also on display. Below are some photos from the weekend.
