September brought MOMAR with1000 racers back to Cumberland to compete in the 26th year of the adventure race. Racers can choose to compete in one of three races: the 20K Quest–a paddle and trek-only adventure, or the classic 30K Sport and 50K Enduro races, which put their paddling, trekking, and mountain biking skills to the test.

For me, it’s a busy day starting at the lake pre-race, getting out on a boat to cover kayaking, hiking on foot to catch some of the trek, jumping on my bike to catch the single track action, and finally, completing the day at the finish line. This year the weather was perfect, and after a month sidelined with a sprained ankle, it was really nice to get back behind the camera again. Below are a few photos from the day.
